Why Ottawa is on waitlist.
Venture X Ottawa is currently not accepting new bookings. Our Ottawa location is being re-confirmed with the operator, and until that process wraps, we're not placing anyone at a desk we can't guarantee.
The honest version: we'd rather you join a waitlist and get an accurate call back than sign you up for a seat we can't deliver on. If a dedicated desk opens here, you'll be among the first people we contact. If the timing doesn't work, we'll help you find a Venture X nearby that is open now.
A reserved seat on the Carling corridor.
A dedicated desk at Ottawa means the same desk every day — your monitor, your keyboard, your reference books stay in place. Lockable storage for gear you don't want on display. 24/7 keycard access once it's live. Published starting price: $525/month + HST.
The Carling Avenue corridor is walkable to amenities, close to OC Transpo service, and has free parking on site — a straightforward commute whether you're driving in from Kanata, Nepean, or Centretown.
Dedicated desks are open at other Venture X locations.
If a dedicated desk needs to be live for you in weeks rather than months, our Ontario locations have open availability now — Mississauga Heartland, North York, Mississauga Sherwoodtowne, Oakville, Mississauga Erindale, and Etobicoke all have active dedicated-desk programs with similar amenity sets.
Tell us what you need in the enquiry form below. If Ottawa won't be ready in your timeline, we can hand you off to the host at the nearest open Venture X and get you set up within a few business days.
Before you reach out.
- When will Ottawa reopen for new dedicated-desk bookings?
- We don't have a confirmed reopen date yet. Our Ottawa location is being re-confirmed with the operator. Join the waitlist and we'll contact you the moment the status changes — we'd rather give you a real date than a guess.
- Can I still get a tour of the Ottawa space?
- Call 613.695.7310 or use the enquiry form below to ask about tours — availability depends on the current status of the location. If a tour isn't possible right now, we can send photos and layout detail so you have a clear picture before space opens.
- What's the nearest Venture X with a dedicated desk available today?
- The closest open Venture X dedicated desks to Ottawa are in the GTA — Mississauga Heartland, North York, and Richmond Hill all have active workspace programs. If you need to be seated now, tell us in the enquiry form and we'll match you to the location with the right fit on commute and setup.
- Does the waitlist cost anything to join?
- No. The waitlist is free and non-committal — you give us your contact details and the pattern of use you're planning (how often you'd be in, whether you need 24/7 access, storage preferences), and we reach out when a seat opens. You decide at that point whether to proceed.
